We are an Italian couple and came to Sifnos for the first time more than 20 years ago. It was love at first sight, and 10 years ago we decided to quit Rome and come to live on the island.
We met several people who love and know Greece and, after visiting many of its islands, came back to Sifnos because “it’s a special island”.
It is not easy to say why it is so special: maybe for its beauty, its history, the friendliness of the Sifnians, the relaxing rhythm of life on the island. Whatever the reason, Sifnos wins the heart of its visitors and inspires the desire to come back to it.
Since the beginning we felt its distinctive charm and in the course of time we came to know it better and got a warm reception by the local community.
Now we feel at home on the island and would be happy to share with you our love for this beautiful place.
